Founded in 1976, the Friends of the Commission on the Status of Women organizes events in the community to raise public awareness and funding for work of the San Francisco Commission and Department on the Status of Women. Our three focus areas are stopping violence against women, eliminating human trafficking and promoting gender equality.

March is Women's History Month and we are celebrating trailblazers in labor and business all month long.

Visit our events page for additional listings of community events and gatherings.
